Should I even bother with switching to Vanilla? Very case-specific (Optiplex 7010)

Hello.

I used tonymac forums to convert my Dell Optiplex. There is a very specific Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave guide for the model I own (https://www.Tonymacx86/threads/guide-install-high-sierra-or-Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave-on-the-dell-optiplex-7010-9010-desktop-pc-revision-ii.251736/) and I was able to upgrade from Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave 10.14.5 to 10.14.6 without anything breaking.

I've been using this hacky for almost two months now without any big issues.

My rig is 3570k/16GB/HD4000 and I consider going the Vanilla route but since there is such a specific walkthrough already and all of the kexts gathered in one place, will it be worth it? I've already bought some MAC-specific software and would like to continue onwards to Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina if it's possible - meaning I'm probably in for the long run.
