Nvidia k600 on Mac Pro 2012

Hey Guys.

I have a legit mac pro mid 2012.

It shipped with a NON metal GPU.

I've installed quadro k600 that I had lying around as I heard they were metal compatible.

Installed (left old GPU in) no dice.

Installed whatever-green kext no dice.

Will it work? I really need 10.14 for nvme support
