Good morning !
I lately managed to install mac os next to windows & PopOS on my MateBook X Pro from Huawei using rEFInd.
Once i start my laptop, the rEFInd screen appears and shows me my added entrys to boot... Windows, PopOS... but no entry for MacOS...
Im sick of using my USB-Stick with Clover on it to boot macOS, so i wanted to add a entry for MacOS to rEFInd for booting.
Code:
menuentry "My Mac OS X" { volume "MacOS" loader \System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi }
( Im not sure with the Volume... i installed macOS in a Partition called "MacOS"... but during the installation this got split i think (ASPFS) ... what volume do i really need to pick here ? )
So... i simply restarted my pc and well, the entry i just created appeared with a nice apple logo. I selected it... pressed enter and rEFInd tried to boot mac os... but it didnt started, i just received a error message :
"Invalid loader file, press any key to continue..."
Well this looked like a driver was missing, so i simply copied HSF+.efi to the refind/drivers folder next to the linux driver and tried it again... this time i received following error message :
"Start... Can not initialize console... press any key to continue..."
Looks better than before the missing driver... but whats missing this time ?
What did i miss ? And what does this message mean, how do i fix this ?
Im glad for every help i get... pretty new to this and its kinda confusing :/
