Help with kextd stall[1], (240s): `AppleACPICPU'

I've been trying to install Mojave on a HP Z230 Tower Workstation I had lying around:

Motherboard: Intel Xeon e3-1226 @3.3ghz with board 1905
Graphics: Intel Graphics HD p4600
Ram: 8gb ddr3 w/ ecc

I've managed to launch the installer and get past clover, I see a very long wall of text that alts at

Unsupported CPU
Unsupported PCH
<Warning>: Endpoint has been activated dthrough legacy launch(3) APIs. Please switch to XPC or bootstrap_check_in(): com.apple.bsd.dirhelper
<Warning>: Service exited with abnormal code 1

I've followed the internet install guide here and I have a working clover install on my usb (so i can reach clover menu at boot). I have used the Haswell config.plist of the vanilla guide as a template merged with the internet install guide basic config. I have also found a post on this forum talking about my graphics card saying that gave me some more settings.

I have a very basic list of kexts so far (and I've removed FakeSMC as per the vanilla install guide to avoidd dduplicating VirtualSMC):

AppleALC.kext

Lilu.kext

USBInjectAll.kext

VirtualSMC.kext

WhateverGreen.kext

I've tried adding AppleACPIPlatform.kext (recovering it somewhere) but it was a random version off the internet and didn't do anything.

My current config file is here .
