This has me nearly at the edge of banging my head against my desk. Send help, plz.
Alright, so I updated from a fully functional Sierra build to High Sierra. I was able to boot back up into my install using the installer USB/Clover on that USB. Unfortunately, after I already reformatted my USB drive, somehow my EFI folder on my Mac OS install went missing, so I had to go back to sq. 1 setting up clover via a vmware vm (weird tongue twister), I’ve linked the new EFI folder below.
So, I am able to boot into Mac OS without either GPU attaches and everything works fine except for the visual glitches you’d expect to find running a sandy bridge cpu on high Sierra. I am able to boot into Windows using both GPUs, but when I try to boot into Mac using the GPUs, it’ll take me through the clover boot options, start booting up, and just go to a black screen even with the -v verbose boot flag.
Okay, so for my system I have this setup:
CPU: intel i7 2600k
Mobo: Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z/Gen 3 (most recent bios, I know it’s old)
GPUs: GTX 950, GTX 660 Ti
Mac OS version: 10.13.6 I installed the most recent web drivers compatible with my build number
Here’s my EFI.
