I recently completed a fresh install of Mojave on a new Hackintosh following the Vanilla Guide linked here. Everything has been working great except that I am getting random freezes after logging into macOS anywhere from 1-10 minutes after login.
My Hardware:
- Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro
- Intel i7-9700K
- Sapphire Radeon RX580 (8GB)
- Ballistix Sport LT (2x16GB)
- Samsung 860 EVO (500GB)
My Kexts
- FakeSMC_ACPISensors.kext
- FakeSMC_CPUSensors.kext
- FakeSMC_LPCSensors.kext
- FakeSMC.kext
- IntelMausiEthernet.kext
- Lili.kext
- USBInjectAll.kext
- WhateverGreen.kext
- XHCI-unsupported.kext
My BIOS
BIOS Windows 8/10 Features: Other OS
Peripherals USB Configuration XHCI Hand-off: Enabled
Chipset Internal Graphics: Enabled
My config.plist
It should be noted that I started with VirtualSMC.kext but switched to FakeSMC.kext after install because I was getting random kernel panics and it was suggest as a possible solution. I was getting random freezes before I added the FakeSMC sensor Kexts so I don’t think those are related.
How can I go about diagnosing these random freezes so that I can make my system more stable? Does anything stand out in my setup as needing reconfiguring?
