Quick intro: I'm a graphic designer and I when I started out working in advertising agencies (some 9-10 yrs ago) I managed to save money for a PC. While working my everyday job in the agency I really got a hold on the Apple system so I considered turning my PC into a Hackintosh. Miraculously I succeeded.
Fast forward to the present: I quit my 9-5 job and started a freelance career. My hack is still working great but I really want to be able to update my system to Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina, because of the Sidecar feature, which will allow me use my iPad as an input device, which will help me a ton in my work. Here are the specs:

Motherboard: GB X99 UD4
CPU: i7 5820k
GPU: GTX 750
RAM: 24 GB DDR4
After lurking in this sub I concluded that in order to be able to make future updates I should switch to an AMD GPU.
After a lot of digging I've found this - Rx Vega 64, GPU for $220. (100% mining card AFAIK)
I have to admit that I blindly followed Tonymacx86 tuts and managed to succeed, but I really want to start over and make a vanilla install and understand how the whole system works.
Do you think this is viable? Is this plan going to work? Is this offer a good one?
P.S. I'd be happy to propose a new logo for this sub.
