How will Mojave perform on external SSD?

Hello, I want to install Mojave on an external SSD with USB3.1 TypeC connection (specifically this one) and was wondering how well will the performance be? I’m going to be running it on a Dell Inspiron 7577 Gaming Laptop that has Thunderbolt 3 port as well.
