Hello!
Thanks to the great vanilla guide I was able to get almost everything working. However, my mackintosh does not detect the HDMI output for sound at all. Unfortunately this is necessary for my work.
The audio currently works for my "internal speakers" which is the headphone jack of the motherboard.
I was confused if I needed to do anything regarding the device-id. In the tutorials they mention finding the framebuffer that the current display is sent to and ensuring it appears as an HDMI connector type.
I am including my system details below.
