https://i.redd.it/ty9vxrbtf7i31.png So, title is pretty much it. Motherboard: Asus P9X79 RAM: 4x8 DDR3 1600 by two kits 2x8 CPU: E5-2660 v2 Ivy Bridge (gotta upgrade soon) Video: Sapphire Nitro RX 580 Other stuff: two SSD for OSX and Windows 10 (in progress), one 2TB HDD for shared files, one smol 2.5 spare drive for Linux, gotta add one more SSD for music samples. Case: Deepcool Matrexx 55 (non-RGB) PSU: Aerocool VX-750 I used vanilla guide initially, but got a lot of KPs. I found Rampagedev guide and DSDT collection, used it and got working Mojave 10.14.6 in a hour. I gotta tweak config a little, but in general I just used what he used. Works: pretty much all except sleep and USB 3.1 (I dunno is it works, cause I don't have any USB 3.0+ devices, but USB 2.0 works on all ports). I'm working on sleep atm, experimenting with darkwake. But to be completely honest, OSX on SSD loads in 10 seconds max, so it's not a big deal for me. CPU boost works too. Kexts: Lilu, WEG, USB inject, AppleALC, HDMIAudio, E1000 for the lan (I got KP when I tried Mausi kext, so), VirtualSMC and XHCI-unsupported. Boot: BIOS: I disabled VT-d, COM and Fire-Wire, and it's pretty much all. Notes: I have micro-freezes in Safari, not sure is it Safari thing or system-wide. [link] [comments] |
