Would it be wise to to buy a cheaper amd gpu to work along side my Nvidia gtx 1050 ti so I can run above high Serria

I still want Nvidia for gaming but I am a little tired of using High Serria, I was thinking that maybe running a amd gpu on the rig but using the Nvidia outputs but with the nivida gpu disabled. and then somehow using only the Nvidia gpu for gaming on the windows side

My concerns

Would that cause increased latency in Mac OS since it passing through the amd GPU output

Would this cause issues in windows

would it use increased system resources to do this, since my cpu isn't the best its a i3 6100

and lastly what power supply would I need considering I have a 500 watt in my system now

my motherboard does have enough PCI express slots I have 3 of them
