Just a little introduction before diving into the problem. This hackintosh was made by a friend, who gave it to me two days ago and went on vacations abroad. I've been reading lots of stuff on the subject these last two days, I understand how it works, but couldn't find a solution. I also must admit I don't understand everything, as it's still new to me. That's why I need your help.
CPU is GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS GAMING, GPU is 1070ti, on High Sierra 10.13.6
Ok, so first thing is, when I boot in verbose, I get this "IGPU- Graphics drivers failed to load : could not register with Framebuffer driver" message.
When I switch the Nvidia driver in the Pref panel, and reboot, it's still on Default macos Graphic drivers.
In the system report, the graphic card is not fully recognize. It's just written PCIe, NVIDIA or No Kext Loaded.
In the EFI, I see theres Lilu and Whatevergreen installed.
In clover configurator, system parameters, NvidiaWeb is checked.
I tried uninstalling the Nvidia drivers and reinstalling them, didnt work
Any idea why the drivers won't load?
