I was originally planning to build a Hackintosh, at first, with a 580. Then decided on the Vega 56 with it's recent price decrease. Now, as the RX 5700 has released, with the kind of performance that it offers at its price point, I'm obviously now intending to switch to that.
It's my intention to buy all the parts come the first week of August, but I'm aware that there currently isn't any support for this GPU on any Mac OS. Could it be expected that support will arrive within the next few months or so?
Is it sensible to buy all my parts, RX 5700 included, and just run the machine with Windows until Mac OS has support? Or might that not come through for a while, and I should just stick with Vega?
