IBM x41 Tablet Snow Leopard (NO SSE3, 32BIT only)

So, like the title says, I have an IBM X41 (Specs below) and am having troubles getting 10.6 running.

I'd prefer to use Clover as I am more familiar with it, and I know that 10.6 is out of date and I won't be able to run much of anything with it.

Right now, I can boot the Clover 10.6 USB and select the 10.6 option. It will go through the verbose stuff, then sits a dark grey screen with a beach balling cursor. I have left it for over 2h with no change. There is also no USB or HDD activity at this time. The USB ports work as the mouse moves around using my USB logitech optical mouse.

IBM X41 Tablet (

CPU : Intel Pentium M LV 758 @ 1.50GHz (SSE2 ONLY, 32BIT)

Graphics : Intel GMA 900 Sound : AD1981B RAM : 2GB DDR2 SDRAM PC2-4200 HDD : 60GB 4200rpm (IDE) Wireless : Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG (I believe is incompatible)

Ethernet : Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) WACOM TOUCH SUPPORT

I have been using my 10.6 DVD Image to create a VANILLA usb installer.

I think an SSE2 kernel may be required but have just not found any working links for this.

Any help is greatly appriciated. Thanks for reading! ❤️
