How to increase efi partition size when neither partition master nor partition wizard works.

If you find yourself having issues with increasing the size of the EFI partition due to the MSR partition being in your way you should give a try to GParted.

You need a USB stick, any program to make a bootable USB (Rufus/balenaetcher/unetbootin etc) and the iso file of GParted.

1: download the iso from their site.

2: open the app, select your drive and iso

3: reboot your pc and select the boot options (F11 on desktop and F12 on some laptops, can't guarantee which one is the correct one for your system)

4: boot into GParted, select your main partition (in my example of the 1tb SSD the 943gb one) and reduce its size by the amount you want to enlarge your partition by and make this space to be available before your partition.

5: apply this and then go on the MSR partition and select move so that you can make the space that we got before available before this partition too (so that's adjacent to our EFI partition) and click on apply on this too

6: now you can extend your EFI from either gparted or partition wizard/partition master without issues.

7: Now you can install MacOs or whatever you want that needs this space

8: eat a cookie

9: profit?
