First build! Can I get some validation before I pull the trigger?

Hi there! Embarking on my first Hackintosh. I started out by looking into a Morgonaut build and found that I can actually knock down the costs further if I select some alternative parts. I quickly learned that tonyx86 is one resource that is on the edge of being obsolete. So after scouring for the past few days, I think I have the main parts down: mobo, CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD. I wanted to see how the experienced builders out here feel about these choices; Is anything here likely to be trouble (excluding the inevitable Hackintosh is not troublefree by definition). I also am quite lost on what tower to put this rig in and on cooler choices that are reliable - so tips/options would be amazing!

I plan to use this primarily as an audio production and video editing workstation, plus optional gaming. The tower will be in a different room so fan noise is not really a concern.

MoBo: Z390 Designare

I see many successful builds, but I saw something about Z370 being better due to NVRAM, which appears to be easily worked around on Z390. Thoughts?

CPU: Intel i9-9900K

No plans to overclock, but I just want painless automated cooling (See Cooler and MidTower)

GPU: ASUS Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB

From the lovely and comprehensive Catalina GPU buyers guide.

SSD: Samsung 970 PRO M.2 NVMe 1TB Internal SSD

RAM: HyperX Predator Black 64GB kit 3600MHz DDR4 (4x 16 GB)

Cooler and MidTower: Not sure yet!

I see Noctua seems fine, but lots of questions:

  1. Is it controlled by BIOS or macOS?
  2. Does Noctua fit into any ATX MidTower? It looks bloody huge!
  3. If Noctua.. 1 or 2 units?

On that note, I would really love to use a corsair h150i, or a Kraken, but I don't want to be doing that CAM reloading on reboot. Thoughts?
