Hi everybody, I'm writing this because I have a problem with my Mojave installation. No matter what I do it seems that the problem is still there. This is my setup: AsRock H61MV-ITX i5 2320 8GB DDR3 GTX 650 Samsung SATA SSD 850 EVO I installed Mojave by following the guide provided here in this subreddit (I downloaded all the kexts that I needed and also used Clover Configurator to set iMac 14,2 in the config.plist file). I didn't touch any of the other options inside Clover Configurator, I just put iMac 14,2 in SMBIOS. I managed to boot it first try and everything was working (including the graphics) (expect audio and sometimes it was freezing but that's another story...). I then copied the EFI folder inside the EFI partition of the USB inside the EFI partition of the SSD (I used Clover Configurator for that) but nothing happens. When I try to boot my pc the "UEFI SSD" option doesn't appear, it's not in the boot selection (when I press F11) nor in the BIOS itself. It just says "AHCI P5: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 25". If I try to boot from that I get an error message (see the picture below). If I try to boot from "MAC OS X" (See the picture below" it just goes back to the boot selection and it doesn't do nothing. The only way that I can boot into Mojave is via the USB. I even tried using 3rd party programs (that I know I shoudn't use), like Multibeast but this was after I tried doing it the "right" way. I still didn't manage to solve the problem. I remember that it also happened when I tried installing High Sierra (a while back) on this machine and I didn't know what to do. https://i.redd.it/zlk55a4dd4831.jpg https://i.redd.it/x39bi94dd4831.jpg https://i.redd.it/vu1ica4dd4831.jpg https://i.redd.it/e39q694dd4831.jpg I would highly appreciate if someone could give me a hint on what to do. Thanks. [link] [comments] |
