USB Stick Not Recognized

Okay, I'm new to the world of hackintosh, so i'm sorry if i don't get some terms. I bought a cheep Dell Inspiron 660s to make into a hackintosh. Here's the specs

  • Intel Core i5 3330S (2.70 GHz)
  • 8 GB DDR3
  • Intel HD Graphics 2500

Overall everything seems to be working, except whenever i plug a usb drive into my machine, weather the port be on the case or on the mobo, it never shows up in macos. Once in a blue moon it will, but it will say something along the lines of "this device can't be used by macos" and ask me to initialize it. when i try to there is no change and it just sits in disk util. i tried to erase it and it throws an error stating in the logs that it couldn't open the disk.

i have USBInjectAll enabled and i tried to follow this guide, (scroll a bit it's the one that starts with Few years ago I) but quickly got lost when it was asking me to find my device id.

any help would be appreciated.
