I recently pulled my 2009 Dell Mini 9 Hackintosh out of storage, & the battery took a charge nicely. It has Leopard on it & I tried to install Snow Leopard from a USB restored dvd image, which I made on my Mojave Mac Pro. Trying to boot from it brought Kernel Panic (haven’t seen that in many years). I have no DVD player to hook up to the machine’s USB. I thought about changing the machine identifier so I can use the USB restore stick that came with a 2011 MacBook Air (I’m selling that machine, so I won’t have the stick much longer), but I’m not sure if that can be done. ALSO - I’ve read of a sound hack app that will restore the disabled speakers. So...anyone want to dive in with advice?
