Quick question about a couple of Kexts recommended for the Intel Vanilla sidebar guide: do I literally only need the kext file itself named in the guide, or do I also need to do anything with the other files that come with VirtualSMC and USBInjectAll?

To be clear for VirtualSMC I mean all the other ones that come in the zip file off the repo that don’t have that exact name: SuperIO, something to do with light sensors, etc.

Also the .efi file.

Are those all optional? For a pretty routine z370 hackintosh build hats not a laptop or anything weird, is there even a reason I would for sure need them?

Same question for the “unsupported” kext that came with USBInjectAll. Needed? I should also note I am planning on making a custom USB map with corpnewt’s script first thing after install.
