Out of ideas installing Mojave 10.14.5 (9900k, Gigabyte z390 Aorus Elite, iGPU)

Hello fellow hackintoshers, I need your help.

I got some new hardware a week ago and I am struggling since to set up a Mac OS 10.14.5.

Specs:

  • Intel 9900k
  • Gigabyte Aorus Elite z390
  • 2 x 16Gb GSkill 3000Mhz
  • XPG 1Tb NVME

I am trying to install from an USB 2.0 (tried also 3.0; no difference). Clover version: 4974

Selected options when installing Clover:

  • Clover for UEFI booting only
  • Install Clover in the ESP
  • UEFI Drives: ApfsDriverLoader-64, AptioMemoryFix-64, HFSPlus

Kexts are:

- AppleALC

- IntelMausiEthernet

- Lilu

- USBInjectAll

- VirtualSMC

- WhateverGreen

With these I got an "Alloc 2" error, so I followed this guide to fix it https://github.com/cmer/gigabyte-z390-aorus-master-hackintosh/blob/master/STEP_BY_STEP.md

  • Added: EmuVariableUefi-64.efi
  • Added: OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000
  • Removed: AptioMemoryFix-64

It solves that issue but a full boot from the stick never works. It seems like the iGPU is ignored and the screen goes dark.

Any ideas on what else to try?
