Hello fellow Hackintoshers,
I’m making the effort to update my multiple boot system (current: Mojave 10.14.6 beta, previous: High Sierra 10.13.6, & Windows 10 (1903)) and while booting with my geforce gtx 1050ti booting to desktop is a non issue. When i attempt to use my replacement Radeon RX 570, during the boot process, verbose mode makes mention of prelinked kext files and refusing to use ones i’ve attempted to add manually (lilu.kext in “other” folder on EFI is one of the culprits in this scenario).
Since i’ve never run into this issue before (first hack was 10.6.8), could someone explain what prelinking is and what it accomplishes in addition to how i’d go about updating or replacing the prelinked kernel/kexts? Thanks in advance.
