Hey guys,
I finally got my Hackintosh set up recently. Everything works as it should except the sound. Especially in bassy songs, the sound overrides and everything sounds like an earrape when the volume is over 50%. My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 7 Rev 1.0 and my headset a Steelseries Arctis 3. I tested my soundcard and headset in Ubuntu and Windows and the sound is just as it's supposed to be. Does anyone know a fix for this? In Ubuntu it was the same btw it's just that I could turn the volume to 75% in alsamixer and then everything worked fine and was just as loud as 100% with the difference that 100% in alsamixer also sounded like an earrape. So yeah, is there any way to fix this??
