Both of these issues were briefly and magically resolved after flashing the BIOS to the latest version, but soon after that, there was a critical BIOS error (which I didn't sufficiently document), after which I had to restore the default settings and then reconfigure. After that, I have not been able to boot with Internal Graphics enabled, which is the problem I had before the BIOS update which fixed everything for a few sweet hours. Specifically, it stops at the "Couldn't allocated runtime area" error.
I don't really want to use NoVPAJpeg.kext unless I really can't figure it out otherwise, and that presumably wouldn't fix the motherboard audio ports issue anyway. I've tried changing the device-id and ig-platform-id in config.plist, but I still am not able to boot with Internal Graphics enabled. I feel like there must be an answer in the BIOS, since that's what originally fixed and seemingly broke it again.
