Hey fellow hackintoshers! I have just installed 10.13.6 into a machine I kinda specifically built for Hackintosh (El Capitan) a few years back, I'm having issues with the DisplayPort/HDMI audio setup and was hoping that someone around here has gone through this already/knows how to fix it. I have tried few different methods: - HDMIAudio.kext + SSDT-HDMI-NVIDIA-PEG0.aml - toleda audio_cloverHDMI script I haven't been able to get persisting DP audio with any of those methods. However I have been able to temporarily get DP audio a couple of times (I'm not able to "fix" it every time, doing the same things) doing the following:
I have also seen the clover_HDMI script behaving differently (when DP works/appears in the Sound preferences and it does not). Notice how in the 2nd case it detects a Nvdia HDMI Audio codec with ID `0x10de0084` SpecsCPU: Skylake i5 6600K Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD3 (latest bios) GPU: Asus Turbo GTX 1060 6GB OS X Version: High Sierra 10.13.6 Current kexts
config.plistIt was pretty much copied from the Guide below, and AFAIK the guide is outdated (it mentions NvidiaGraphicsFixup and some other kexts superseded by WhateverGreen) so feel free to point anything that shouldn't be there. More infoThe system was installed following the guides from: High Sierra install full guide Nvidia web drivers installed with nvidia-update Changed integrated audio layout from ALC1220 to ALC1150 as that's the chipset from my motherboard.
