I've got an older hack that I've put away for a long time but would like to revitalize. Previously did the tonymac install but have wiped since. Trying to do the vanilla install method.
EFI folder is here: https://github.com/jerw84/P55-MacOS/tree/master/EFI
System specs as follows: * P55M-UD4 * i5 760 * GT430 (or HD 5850 if needed)
So far I've got the usual suspects in the kext others folder. I've manage to get to the installer screen but have no USB power. I can't quite figure out how to get over that hump. SMBIOS wise I'm at 11,3. Would appreciate any help. Like I said it's a bit of a long shot because most system now use UEFI and legacy gets little to no support these days. But this is a just for fun project, my Haswell hack is still going strong.
