Hi there, new to this forum so if I make any mistake in posting, sorry in advance.
I have been searching for laptops with good compatibility with hackintosh for a while. I'm looking for a laptop that can perform pretty well at home just like a desktop and also are pretty easy to carry around to classes.
“Pretty well" means mostly Windows wise.
Performance. I'm an engineering student and I use 3D CAD like solidworks, coding and Matlab on daily basis. So a laptop with dedicated graphic card and good CPU is a must.
General gaming. No need for high quality settings, stable fps is all I want lol.
But I'm also using some OSX only applications and having a laptop with dual boot is ideally since I can do all tasks everywhere and not needed to buy two computers. To carry around in school, I hope the laptop isn't a 3,4-kilogram monster. But 15" screen is a plus.
My budget is below 1500usd.
Last and most important, I'm pretty new to hackintosh so I'm hoping there are plenty of guides and post about this laptop.
Overall Dell XPS 9560 or 9570 is a perfect candidate for all my requirements. But......I don't live in US and Dell products are crazy expensive in my country. Dell XPS 9570 prized crazy high from 2200~3700 and are way off my budget.
So here I am looking for an alternative which also satisfies my requirements. Any suggestions?? Thanks 😊
Sorry for the long post and bad grammar. English is not my mother tongue :P
