Hey all, first time doing a Hackintosh and first post here. I recently installed Hackintosh on my build (Specs below post) and I had somewhat of a success. My only two issues as of currently are.
I have installed MacOS as per this guide and had a few hiccups that I sorted along the way. I was able to install the Nvidia web drivers fine but they do not run. I'm stuck at a 1600x1200 with graphical errors and installed the latest driver as per this link. I currently have 10.13.6 (17G66) and the 387.10.10.10.40.124 Nvidia driver. Using Clover Configurator of course, I've got a screenshot of the settings I currently have below in relation to the Nvidia drivers. I have verbose mode on from some earlier troubleshooting and I like to see what is happening on boot/issues whilst installing stuff. And before anyone posts about reading the before posting and using a preconfigured EFI, I am wiling to do it myself if needed. But I'm just sailing with what I have for now as it boots. https://i.redd.it/e6rae8o8uv031.png https://i.redd.it/mkf8cyp9uv031.png https://i.redd.it/edq39wpauv031.png https://i.redd.it/z8zq9k8cuv031.png My system is as per below. i7 8700k @ 5.2GHz 16GB DDR4 Trident Z RGB @ 3466MHz Gigabyte Gaming 7 Z370 Nvidia Founders GTX1080 (does have a different BIOS on it, but it's just off another retail card to increase TDP) 500GB Samsung 970 Evo Acer Predator XB2710HU (1440p, 144hz, G-Sync) I also have the primary M2 slot with a 500GB 970 Evo Plus for Windows 10, a 500GB 850 Evo and a 2TB Mech HDD that are all formatted as NTFS. Bonus points for anyone that can assist with Explaining how to correct "About this Mac" to show the correct CPU as I currently have a "4.3GHz Unknown". I attempted to use Clover to do this, but think I'm on the wrong track? [link] [comments] |
