Here is my setup as is. My dad and I built the desk since I couldn't find one that was exactly how I wanted it (and good studio desks are very expensive here in Iceland). It still needs some work, I want to put a pull-out tray for the keyboard and then the rest will just be cable management as the cables are just one big mess right now. I'm using Logic Pro X and I'm not having any issues with it, working with Logic on this setup compared to my old 2013 MB Air is SO MUCH BETTER. To anyone considering moving from their tiny Apple laptops to a decent and affordable (or expensive) Hackintosh desktop, DO IT. You can say goodbye to all the crashes, the "System Overload" errors when you have too many complicated instruments going simultaneously and honestly, working on a desktop is far better and has increased my workflow by a ton. Here is a link to my first post where you can see my specs and more details for the build itself. Processing img xfayt89z82131... [link] [comments] |
