Been contemplating buying an iMac 5k but realized the specs aren't worth the price that I would have to pay. I am pretty committed to the apple ecosystem as I use an iPhone and an iPad but am willing to use windows again. Especially since I can build a computer that far exceeds what apple offers for much less. That said I am going to try and make it into a Hackintosh, but I need some feedback as to this build, specifically concerning whether or not the processor I chose is a good one. I'm between this motherboard, the ASRock Z390 Extreme 4, and the ASUS Prime Z390-A because I want some form of Thunderbolt 3 flexibility.
I am going to use the computer to code, produce music, game, as well as simple work stuff. Down the road I might be interested in video editing, so I hope I'm future proofing myself a little.Any input?
