Hello. I have an issue with my Clover bootloader. It absolutely 100% refuses to boot, whenever I try to boot from it, it's a black screen. Clover was working FINE before and macOS also was. I was troubleshooting NVRAM and inputted a test value, then I rebooted to see if that value was retained. Instead, Clover started displaying a blackscreen. This test value is literally the only change made so I can't see what else could possibly cause this
I booted to Windows and fired up VMWare, I mounted my EFI partition as a physical drive to the macOS Sierra VM. My goal was to boot into macOS and use Clover to troubleshoot whatever the heck is going on. But guess what, the VM booted from the freaking EFI partition with Clover!!!!
So at this point it's kind of like: What? Why is Clover working in a VM and not in my physical machine? I don't understand this one bit. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thank you
