Been putting it off for ages, due to the famous Hackintosh instability, but I'm finally at that point where I need to use Xcode 10.2 and can't delay any longer.
Given most people said it was relatively safe to do, I went for an update from the App Store. It seemed to be going well - did it's whole update thing, restarted, more updating, restarted with Clover, but now anytime I load up from my HDD it first takes forever on the Apple loading screen along with some purple graphic glitches at the top (not unusual for the first run, if I recall), followed by a flat blank screen. My USB devices aren't powered after loading (fine in Clover). On one occasion, it showed the cursor in the top-left but nothing else, can't get any response out of it. Help?
Specs are as follows:
CPU: Intel i5-8400
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H370N Wifi
Memory: Corsair LPX Vengeance 2x8GB DDR4 2400MHz
Graphics Card: Gigabyte AUROS Radeon RX580 4GB
Storage: Samsung 860 Evo 250GB M.2 SSD
Power Supply: Corsair CX550M
My EFI configuration can be viewed here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1Dw6r6wiFy3UUOAaP_xM8NlqkjTIIHm92
I've tried running off integrated graphics instead and also disabling VoodooHDA, with no success. I do have access to a Mac Mini but it's so slow and clunky I'd prefer avoiding it unless I absolutely have to. Any advice?
