hey there - i'm currently happily running a vanilla macOS High Sierra install on my MSI Trident 3 (spec sheet here) and i'm interested in upgrading to Mojave (and forward, eventually) in some way or another. i know that getting my NVIDIA card to work isn't going to happen right now, or possibly ever, and i am comfortable with that - all i consistently use this computer for is audio production (i'm a musician) and nothing i use really utilizes the GPU at all. would like to keep at least transparencies and other OS vfx if possible though.
would it be possible (or even worth it) to disable my 1060 on this computer and just force Intel integrated so i can move on?
if not, would someone be able to point me in the direction of a decent, cheap AMD card that would fit in my case?
