I have just come into possession of an old power Mac G5 in working order. I want to bring it into the 21st century but I know it will require total new internals. I was wanting to ask, is there any way to upgrade the hardware and software natively, as in, what could I upgrade to get 10.7, to naturally progress up to mojave? I know the easiest way is to build the machine and then install Mac OS into it, but I wondered is there any way to do it without having to install it completely from scratch?
