Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro Roadblock

Using the Xiaomi i5 8250U, 8gb version

Hi, I have never made a hackintosh before but I had a big curiosity to get it working on my laptop so I'm currently in the process of trying to install MacOS Mojave on my Xiaomi pro, I've hit a road block on trying to get it installed.

I am trying to dual boot windows and mojave from one ssd, which I believe is possible but maybe I'm completely wrong? Was going to wait a month to buy another ssd but excitement got the better of me. I've partitioned my ssd and made a 60gb partion for the hackintosh using this guide https://hackintosher.com/guides/dual-boot-macos-drive-windows-10-already-installed-shared-drive/

Afterwards I used a virtual machine on my main computer to get macos running so I could make the usb installer.

I've followed this guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URtiCmVewNA and used the EFI files here https://github.com/daliansky/XiaoMi-Pro

I plugged it in and booted into the usb and selected the macos installer with clover. I then used disk utility on the installer to format my partition that I made earlier into Mac OS Extended(Journaled) which would allow me to install Mojave onto it. I then ran the install and it would get stuck at 2 minutes left and reboot and go back into the installer. No new option was available on clover to boot into. So I did some more research and tried using this method instead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVVuzXh42Wg&feature=youtu.be Using the same EFI file above by Daliansky.

This worked and it would install and then reboot and I would have the option to go into the MacOS install on the partition. But when I click this it loads for a little bit and get about 1/5 of the way and says 15 minutes remaining. Then it doesn't go past this. It will stay at that point for a few seconds and then my laptop will reboot. I tried putting -v in the boot args to see if it would show me any errors but it runs through this and then goes to the apple logo loading screen and does the same thing and reboots.

I'm not sure if it's because I'm trying to use the one ssd or if it's because I'm trying to install Mojave, going to try it with High Sierra and see if the same issue persists. But I really wanted to use Mojave.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
