Mojave freezes when connecting an iPhone with the USB cable (Virtual Machine)

Hello everyone,

I'm having a bit of a problem with Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave.

I'm running Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave in Vmware (host os is Arch linux), however i can't connect my iPhone to it since it causes Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave to freeze (Only Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave freezes, Arch keeps working just fine).

As soon as i unplug the iPhone however Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave starts working again.

The iPhone is definitely recognized by Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave, since once i unplug the iPhone and it starts working again, the first thing it does is open the photo application.

I really don't know what to do, i have tried changing the USB settings in every way possible but nothing works.

I know for sure that the problem is not the iPhone or a faulty USB cable, since in my Desktop PC i can connect my iPhone to Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave (running in Vmware but having Windows as a host) and everything works.

I've found a couple of posts online that had my same issue but nothing i found worked, so any help is much appreciated
