How do I get trackpad identify as an actual trackpad instead of mouse?

I finished vanilla setup recently and found out that with voodoops2controller my trackpad is identified as mouse. Features work just fine, but it is bothering that I don't have tap to click because my laptop is T440s and this trackpad is a pain in the ass to use.
