Will upgrading my hackintosh get me a better chance of having working gpu drivers?

Hi there,

I'm currently on 10.13.3 without working gpu drivers. I have tried a lot of tricks to get these to work but without any success. After install and reboot I keep getting a black screen.

Specs I7 8700k Msi z370 gaming m5 Gigabyte extreme edition Aorus gtx 1080 ti

So I was wondering, sincs im pretty desperate now if I would have a better chance of getting working gpu drivers when I upgrade to for example 10.13.6?
