I run an older hackintosh with Sierra 10.12 on the following hardware: GIGABYTE GA-Z77-D3H LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard Honestly, this setup has worked great for years. Output to 3 monitors. I use bootloader from a Clover USB stick because I never got the Clover to work right from SSD, but it's fine, no problem. I created a new Clover USB stick using latest Clover w/drivers and kexts for Mojave support. Pretty sure I have all the updated files, though maybe I'm missing something somewhere. Downloaded Mojave from App Store, started installer. It did its thing, then system reboots. At this point when the Clover bootloader kicks in, I am suppose to choose MacOS Install to continue the upgrade. But, doing so just leads to a panic screen (attached). Not really sure where to go from here. Is my hardware too old? Video card? Sierra system is pre-APFS, could that be the problem? [link] [comments] |
