Hi everyone,
I decided to switch graphics cards to AMD (Sapphire RX 580) so I can finally install Mojave. I made a backup of my working High Sierra onto another SSD, and then started the installation for Mojave.
The install went well at first. My hackintosh restarted and the Apple logo with the progress bar was loading. However, when it finished the progress bar, both of my (dual) screens just went blank. It says they were searching for a signal? They couldn’t get any signal though.
Even with this hiccup, I thought I was fine because I had my backup SSD. However, when I tried booting up through the SSD, I was greeted by a circle with a line across it—and that was that. I also tried using the backup drive’s recovery mode. Same result: circle with a line across.
What information would I need to give you in order for this community to help me? I’ve read here and there that maybe my config plist would be helpful... but how do I go about doing that? This is the first time my bootable drive won’t even boot... so I’m clueless about these other steps.
I can also talk through Discord or messaging or anything convenient to you guys.
Thank you!
