It has happened...
I have bitten the bullet and will be selling my GTX 970. Good bye High Sierra, hello Mojave! In its place I will be getting a Sapphire RX 580, I've heard really good things about its compatibility and the card in general. It is my understanding that I will still use WhateverGreen and Lilu.
This is the first time I'm getting an AMD card so really out of my element here but, I've read there can be differences in compatibility per variant of the model? I am able to purchase either one at the moment and I'm not really sure which one. Which variant do you guys recommend?
Ideally I'd go for Pulse just because I really don't like flashing lights coming out of my machine, I've read the Nitro+ has lights on the fans but I can live with it if it means better compatibility?
Thanks guys! I will be posting updates of my upgrade to Mojave. Will be migrating all of my SMBIOS so iMessage etc won't break hopefully.
