Hey guys!I am building a new Hackintosh for work, I am a music producer and I work with Logic Pro X (bought from App Store). My late-2013 Macbook Pro is litterally dying after years of processing then I decided to build myself a Hackintosh. I bought a R7 Ryzen 2700 X , MOBO is the Asus Prime X470-PRO, 32GB RAM, running High Sierra perfectly, I need to fix the last things in order to work with this machine. This is the alert I get with EVERY project. I'm getting a problem here, everything works fine now but the Midi Sync Allert I get everytime I open my projects won't let me work. It's an alert which I get even from the Macbook (sometimes) when I put it under very hard processing and it's a way for Logic to tell you "The hell is this harsh?". I mean that it usually happens when you are asking your computer to do hard processing and it just can't do it.But we are talking about just listening to the project (with more than 80 channels), it should not be happening theorically (if you look at the CPU's meter it's not showing any weird level of processing!) I've also noticed that the clock is 1 minute slower than my Macbook Pro, in the past it happened to have similar issue when the clock was not set properly or was in conflict with other apps, even from original Macbook, and also when I play a video using VLC it gets some glitches every 3 sec when the audio gets stocked for a fraction of a second (It doesn't act like this with videos from the Tube or from any other web-source). First I thought it was for the audio codec layout. I was detecting just the HDMI audio output instead of all the outputs I can work with.So I fixed it putting a bootflag reguarding the audio codec set with the chipset of my mobo, as this guide suggests (APPLEALC_AMD_OSX_GUIDE_LINK). Now I have all the audio outputs working, but still getting the midi alert on Logic! Have a wonderful day,MW [link] [comments] |
