I got almost stable Mojave running on this laptop(i5 8250U, MX150+UHD 620, 8GB DDR4 Samsung 2133mhz RAM)
At this moment this is what works: -Screen* -Battery -Audio(just headphone jack) -USB ports(haven't tested SD card slot, USB-C and HDMI yet) -Wifi(with external dongle, ASUS N10 Nano) -Bluetooth -Keyboard -Clover Bootloader -Function keys -GPU(with Metal support, recognized as Iris HD 530)
,and this is what doesn't work: -Some function keys(probably some keys are not mapped) -Speakers -Touchpad -Integrated Wifi chip -Screen brightness control
I just want the touchpad and speakers to work, and maybe the brightness control, I don't really mind about the other minor issues
I already have a custom config.plist for this laptop and all the kexts needed and I would have made a guide for it, although I need some help from you guys to fix these last issues.
So, addressing the speakers and touchpad, I have a Realtek ALC230 sound card and a Synaptics touchpad. I already tried many different kexts and files for those and none seem to fix any of the issues. Even worse, if I install other touchpad drivers they also break my keyboard support. So no luck there. I already looked into Windows 10(because I am dual booting on 2 different SSD's)'s device manager at this trackpad, and I didn't really understand, but I think the touchpad is USB-based.
I hope I'll fix these issues eventually because I really need macOS for graphic design on the go. Any help would be appreciated.
