Can't Install High Sierra to Intel 660p (Shows up as PCI-Express External Physical Disk)

Obligatory; This is the same post as I have on insanelymac.com... Just looking for more opinions here :)

Hello there,

I have scoured the interwebz for a few hours now, generally looking for a solution to this problem, though I can't find anything concrete...

I have a desktop computer with ASUS X99-A motherboard, i7-5820K, GTX 1080 founders and 16GB DDR4 RAM.

I currently until now had High Sierra installed to an HDD and just got my NVMe Intel 660p 512GB drive in the mail and wanted to upgrade... Silly me decided to wipe the HDD through Windows (Windows running on its own SSD) and when I had prepared my USB (through my laptop using VM-Ware and a guide on Hackintosher) I noticed that my NVMe drive is showing as an external drive and no matter what I tried I cannot get it to be recognized as an internal drive :( Am I missing something crucial here? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time!

In the forum post I said that an incentive to help me out could probably be 10USD, I'm sure that the same could be followed here as well :)
