This is my first "successful" attempt (attempted one last year but gave up on it). I debated between this and the Intel NUC8i5 but liked that the i5-8250U has a 15W TDP vs. 28W on the i5-8259U plus I'm able to install the Broadcom BCM94352Z for native Wi-Fi/Bluetooth. Huge shoutout to Rehabman's Guide and the_gael's Guides. Referenced those a ton.
Hardware
-
Gigabyte BRIX GB-BRi5-8250-BW
-
Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4 2400 SO-DIMM RAM
-
WD Black 500GB NVMe M.2
-

I love the form factor - it's just 0.46L and uses less power than a light bulb.
