Sleep/Wake on Vanilla 10.13.6, getting desperate!

Hello r/Hackintosh, today I present a particular challenge. One I’ve not figured out for over a year now. This may just be a problem with my build, given that I can’t find any specific problem, but I could use some help narrowing it down. Depending on how desperate I get, I may even throw a pizza to whomever can solve it lol.

The problem: When I put the Hackintosh to sleep, it waits about 20ish seconds then goes to standby mode (turns off). So far so good. After around 3 seconds, it wakes right back up. Every single time.

Now I had this issue on a previous tonymac build w/ uni&multi beast, and never found a solution. So yesterday, I installed using the vanilla guide without a hitch. I am using the latest (at time of writing) following Kexts built from source: • VirtualSMC • Lilu • AppleALC • IntelMausiEthernet • USBInjectAll

I followed the vanilla guide to the letter on the config.plist. Everything else works except this. The following are my specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5 6600K GPU: MSI GTX 980 Armor 2X Brand MB: Asus Z170-AR RAM: 16GB Vengeance WiFi Card: FV8303 Another USB Card Lighting: NZXT Hue+ Power Supply: Unsure, but it’s plugged into one of the 2.0 Mobo headers.

I am using the iMac 17,1 SMBIOS, and have successfully installed the 10.13.6 Nvidia drivers.

What I have tried: • All the dark wake settings • Powernap settings • ERP Bios Settings • W/O all USB’s plugged in except mouse • Disabled internal USB from bios • Also tried manually disconnecting ^ • removed Bluetooth usb dongle • Disabled Wakeonlan both in MacOS and in bios • tried generating a ssdt using ssdtprgen.sh • Removing the PCIE cards Config.plist attempts: • FixOwnership, RTC, HibernateAware, StrictHibernate, AppleRTC, AppleIntelCPUPM.

If anyone can help, I’d be eternally grateful. Can also upload entire EFI folder and images of bios upon request. I can also confirm sleep works in windows mode. I anticipate this is a hardware issue on some level, since it’s the computer coming back on from standby mode, but at this point I’m at a loss.

Thanks, Best,

CAmadeusA
