Hello Hackintosher,
I am a newbie here and might have forgotten to mention important stuff for you being able to help me. If so, please tell me and I will grant you the information needed. Thx you.
My problem:
I do have a Hackintosh and a MacBook Pro 2017 for Editing 4K Video Projects. One of the crucial function for those projects is the "Multicam" option. Even though the Hackintosh is way more powerful and faster than the Macbook Pro, it is lagging to play the same 4K Video Footage in Mulicam which the Macbook Pro is nailing it with no problem at all. It is completely fluent even with 5 Cameras at the same time while the Hackintosh is struggling with 3 Cameras. I have tried it in several Editing Programs with no success.
Does anyone have an idea what the reason might be?
MacOs is High Sierra 10.13.4 for both systems.
Software of choice is Final Cut Pro X
