I run and install a lot of programs on my late 2015 iMac.. and also game on it.
Long story short, after staying over at a friends house I've had a strong desire to build a PC for gaming.. and then thought.. why not for music AND gaming. I would be able to knock it out of the park killing two birds with one stone.
This is what I've researched with the help of a couple of my friends:
Hackintosh BUILD
- CPU:
Ryzen 5 2600
AMAZON: $242.13
CC: $269
- Motherboard:
MSI B450TOMAHAWK
AMAZON: $147.99
CC: $149.99
- GPU:
GTX 1060 6GB
- SSD:
500GB Crucial SSD
AMAZON $94.99
CC: $99.99
- Power Supply:
Masterwatt 550W from Cooler Master
AMAZON: $69.99
- Memory:
3000mhz 16gb (2x8) dual channel ram from G Skillz AMAZON: $149.99
- Case:
Corsair Carbide SPEC-05 Mid-Tower Gaming Case
AMAZON: $69.99 with FREE shipping
Note: This build was for a PC, I was wondering if this would still work for a Hackintosh. Also, I already purchased the GPU since it was on sale for a good price here in Canada.
Is there anything you'd add and/or replace? Thanks for the feedback! P.S. I'm not that big of a PC head ;-; So lay it on me!
