2019 "One PC To Rule Them All" Worldwide Project | You Decide Every Part Of This New Computer

One PC To Rule Them All. We could start tomorrow 1st of January 2019. I am inviting you to a first worldwide phenomenon here on YouTube by giving you collective authority in deciding every component of my next pc build for 2019. Details after we roll the intro.

Hey nametags and welcome, this is Ash from HealMyTech helping you go from newbie to techie. On this channel we do reviews repair and other tech tutorials. So like and subscribe, click the bell icon for notification, and consider using my affiliate links below to help the channel.

I am still using an AMD FX8350, 16GB DDR3 RAM, and an AMD Sapphire R9380 4GB DDR5 for content creation here on YouTube. Maybe its time to finally upgrade in 2019, what do you think? But wait, upgrade to what exactly? Should I wait for Ryzen 3000 series? What about Intel? When should I buy the parts? From where?

Wait, there's more, did I mention that this pc needs to be compatible with Windows, Linux and MacOS, oh yeah, we need to build a hackintosh, we'll cross that legal and ethical hackintosh bridge when we come to it, but from the onset, all the parts need to be carefully selected for cross platform compatibility. I will be installing all 3 operating system on separate drives for less complicated booting up. And one last thing, it also needs to be compatible and optimised for the professional video editor Da Vinci Resolve which performs all image processing in the GPU.

Because yes, this pc of mine will become my daily driver for content creation as its primary function, and as also a gaming machine, so it should be a decent all rounder. After we build the pc, we will install all the relevant software and offer an end user comparative experience of all three platforms, the ultimate Windows vs Linux vs Mac paradigm.

Sounds good? Should we call it the "One Pc To Rule Them All" series? Maybe that should be your first decision to make, lets find a most appropriate catchy title together?

So, do you want to join me on this unique journey for a complete A-Z computer build, the first of its kind on YouTube, as we catalogue and document every aspect in so much detail that anyone from little Timmy to your grandma could easily pick up, copy and be able to build their first pc with zero or minimum help?

Why am i doing this, why do i need your help? If you look at my channel, it will become clear that I probably don't need your input to do this, and it would probably go faster if i just complete my research, order the parts, do the tutorial and be done within a week or so.

That's the thing, I don't want to be done in a week or so. I want this to continue for a long time, maybe at least a good 3 month of consistent and continuous content for uploads. In other words, I want to create a complete A to Z series, and only focus on it until completion. Everything else on my channel will take a backstage, unless there is a time deadline to upload a specific video due to professional commitment. I believe this is missing on this platform. Our content is usually very disjointed, which could be part of YouTube's charm, but for me it is becoming a daily problem to come up with content, even with careful planning and batch working because its not working out for me. So doing this project not only will give me focus and a structure to follow, but it will also give you the viewers a familiar TV series like experience.

After all, YouTube probably want content creators to produce more TV like episodes to increase viewers daily engagement, right? If I am going to try anything at all to grow my channel this year in 2019, then let this project be the guinea pig and become a pioneer for others hopefully, and also stand as hardcore evidence for one way to grow a YouTube channel organically.

So join me, as I start posting up this project on various other social media platforms like twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit, as well as here on YouTube to invite others to join in this project. I'm going to stick with #onepctorulethemall or #hacklindows or #maclindows for now unless we find something better I think its a pretty cool idea, or its could a huge flop, but I'm super excited to find out. as I believe we stand much a better chance to come up with a close to perfect system, and those guidelines could be universally used by anyone else afterwards. Im sure if you've built a PC before you remember what it was like the first you did it, how long it tok you to order all the parts, how obsessed you became to try and get every part to work perfect harmony with each other, which can be nonsense because there is no perfectly balanced system, but there is a perfect system for you.

I'm thinking we will conduct regular polls after discussing which parts might be better suitable, and we use the majority rule as deciding factor. It might flop, and we might make mistakes on the way, but I want to believe that collectively, we can do this, even if it means rectifying the mistakes. Lets show others what a community can do when people work together. Let's make YouTube great again.

So check out the description for details of how to participate in this project, and join me on my other social media platforms. I have never been very good on social media, its no secret, so hopefully this will be my way of improving my engagement with all you guys.

For your first collective input, go the community post tab, and take the poll for a better title for the series if any. I will stick to polls here on YouTube, there is also a strategic reason for that as opposed to posting the poll on different other platforms, so the other social media will contain details how to participate in the poll here.

Edit 01/01/2018: There probably isn't a poll system here on reddit (corrrect me), but feel free to suggest a better way for me to do this. Also, I will post this up on other subreddit as well, to reach a few other communities, so let me know if this is frowned upon.
