Hey guys! I installed Mojave (dual boot with sierra) last week on my laptop. Fell it was running a bit slower than old sierra. Navigation through the OS and all animations were all smooth. But opening apps and switching between them fell slower, they kept on bouncing for long periods. Like Chrome usually took around 12-20 sec to show blank window. (For the 1st time after boot)
Searched a lot on internet. I found that the problem was related to UEFI64 drivers within clover. Particularly with memory fixes. Switching between AptioMemoryFix, OsxAptioFixDrv and OsxAptioFix3Drv, Resulted in performance variations. I tried all 3 different drivers multiple times from different clover builds, both stable and beta versions. They improved performance but none of them helped mojave run as snappy as sierra.
Changing memory fixes simultaneously affects the performance of both the OS. Sierra works best with OsxAptioFix3Drv. Sierra takes around 3-4 sec to launch chrome, while currently mojave takes around 8-12 sec to launch chrome. Scenario is same with all most all applications.
What should i do to make Mojave run as snappy as sierra?
My Laptop Specs: i5 4210U 4 gb Ddr3 ram 2gb 840m gpu (disabled) 1TB HDD
